Onam is a harvest festival which celebrates the return of the legendary King Mahabali to the state. The festival marks the togethernesa of Keralites. As part of this auspicious festival, Sri Vidhyadhiraja Model College of Teacher Education, Vendar celebrated Onam on 31st August at college auditorium. The celebration was well organized with many events.

This is the last week of teaching practice. In this week, the Independency day was celebrated in the school with a lot of programmes. Patriotic song, speech competition, quiz etc were conducted for the students. Then we took a yoga class for the students. At last, sweets were distributed to the HM, teachers and students. School HM and teachers gave wishes to become a good teacher. It was a nice experience for me. The teaching practice gave me more memories.The minute  moments ara also in my heart.It was most wonderful days in my life.

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect. As part of Independence day, Govt HSS kottarakkara  celebrated this bright day wonderfully.

This is the sixth week of teaching practice. In this week, assembly was conducted by the students. As a part of the coming independence day a drawing competition was held on the topic "Independence day celebration after 25 years". Students from different classes participated in the competition. We the trainees give necessary instructions to the students. There were also classes took in the classes alotted to me with the help of teaching aids. Our physical education sir visit school and observe health education class.

This is the fifth week of the teaching practice .Due to heavy rain collector declared 2 &3 August as holyday.so we got 3 working days in the weak.l started new chapter in 8 A and finish the chemical bonding chapter in 9A. my student prepared the models of molecules .
